Description

Kaspia Fresh Salmon Eggs are Pacific Keta salmon eggs harvested at perfect maturity, when their skin is at its thinnest, their orange color at its brightest and their flavor at its most balanced. Keta salmon, also known as chum salmon, is a wild North Pacific species renowned for the size of its eggs and their frank iodized taste, without the bitterness sometimes found in overripe or poorly preserved salmon eggs.

Each kernel is firm, shiny and a deep, rich orange. On the palate, the skin bursts open under gentle pressure, releasing a slightly salty, marine flavor, rich in omega-3 and protein, perceptible in its fullness. A product that satisfies both the eye and the palate.

Tasted on a Kaspia blini with a dollop of heavy cream, they are the most visual and immediately appealing aperitif in the range. They also enhance steamed potatoes mashed in butter, soft-boiled eggs in green sauce, or as a generous garnish on cold salmon sashimi. A product to have in the fridge at any festive moment.
