Description

The Preparation Fromagère au Chèvre Frais et Truffe Noire is one of the Maison de la Truffe's most delicate creations: the milky, slightly acidic sweetness of fresh goat's cheese meets the shavings of black truffle. Melanosporum in a marriage of natural aromatic harmony. The fragility and mellowness of fresh goat's cheese make it one of the most faithful vectors of truffle aromas - capturing, fixing and releasing them with every bite.

The texture is melt-in-the-mouth, creamy and slightly moist, just like any quality fresh goat cheese. Chunks of black truffle are visible in the white paste, creating an elegant visual contrast and an immediately appealing aromatic profile. Presented individually, in generous 120-gram portions.

The Maison de la Truffe recommends that it be enjoyed with a drizzle of truffled honey and a handful of fresh arugula - the classic hot-cold-acid-idea that brings out the best in every ingredient. It can also be used in gourmet tartines with walnuts and a touch of fig jam, as a garnish for hot puff pastry, as a stuffing for baked zucchini rounds or in aperitif verrines with a drop of honey and a truffle chip.
