Description

This Truffled Whole Duck Foie Gras is the fruit of an exclusive collaboration between Maison de la Truffe and a Landes breeder selected for his commitment to traditional artisanal methods. Every stage in the production process - from free-range rearing to final sterilization - is carried out in the Landes region, in keeping with the know-how that has made the reputation of Gascon foie gras.

The generosity of the recipe is striking: 8% of black truffle in a whole duck foie gras - a rare ratio that places this product among the most authentic truffle preparations on the market. The truffle melts intimately into the liver, giving it an aromatic depth and persistence on the palate that immediately distinguishes this foie gras from versions simply flavored with artificial aroma.

Served as a generous slice on slightly warm brioche toast, accompanied by fig jam or mango chutney, it makes an incomparable festive starter. It can also be pan-fried for a few seconds on each side on a bed of green beans, or enjoyed at room temperature with a sweet Sauternes or Jurançon wine.

Contents: 50g in a jar. Store in a cool, dry place. Remove from the fridge 20 minutes before serving to release all the aromas.
