Tarama Selection

The Kaspia Selection Tarama is the house reference - the starting point for a range in which each variation explores a different aromatic territory. Made from 40% of smoked and salted cod roe, with no artificial colouring, it has a luminous pearly white colour that bears witness to its unadulterated production process. The texture is smooth and airy, with a creaminess that melts immediately on the tongue.

The flavour is that of cod roe in its purest expression: smoky, slightly iodised, with that hint of concentrated lemon that balances the fat of the rapeseed oil and awakens the whole. There's nothing to hide here. The cod is the star of the show, in a dose that leaves no doubt about the company's commitment to quality.

Served on slightly warm Kaspia blinis, topped with a dollop of thick crème fraiche and sprinkled with chopped chives, this is the ideal aperitif to kick off a Kaspia tasting session. It can also be spread on rye toast, homemade crackers or sliced cucumber for a lighter version. A classic that never gets old.
