Slivers of dark chocolate truffles - Trompe l'Œil

A new gastronomic experience offered by La Maison de la Truffe to delight chocolate lovers and truffle enthusiasts alike.

The Maison de la Truffe is offering a new creation in collaboration with Pascal Brunstein Meilleur Ouvrier de France Chocolatier:

These are thin slices of chocolate truffle that are larger than life, around 5 cm in diameter and 3 mm thick. If the visual effect of trompe l'oeil is there, the tasting experience lives up to all its promises.

The choice of chocolate variety fell on a Grand Cru from Mexico, whose characteristic aromatic notes of undergrowth blend subtly with the complex flavours of the Black Truffle, reminiscent of humus and mushrooms. The feuillantine and chia seeds add crunch, while a final touch of fleur de sel enhances the flavours.
