Also called "Truffe de la Saint Jean". Its appearance is similar to the Tuber Melanosporum, but it can be bigger and firmer. Its flesh has white veins, and is generally from yellow to gray.
Best when used in the simplest way, summer truffles can be enjoyed sliced fresh on a salad, drizzled with olive oil and coarse salt.
Season : from May to August.
Storage : Between +4°C and +6°C
